PUERTO PLATA – Volleyball Federation Santiago (FEVOSA) announced the celebration of the X Men’s Easter Beach Volleyball Tournament 2016 to be held on the beach of Cabarete on March 25-27 with more than 200,000 in prizes.
The men’s volleyball tournament in category “Three for Three” is already an Easter tradition on the beach of Cabarete. The tournament will be held in front of the Lorenzo Pizzeria and represent teams from throughout the country, as well as from the United States, Russia, and Panama.
The first prize is 100,000 pesos in cash since according to the statement by the President of FEVOSA; Jose Aybar (Yeyé), the facilities are almost ready and that several national teams have confirmed their participation so a high level of beach volleyball as in previous years is expected.
The opening ceremony of the X Tournament is scheduled for 9:00 am on Friday, March 25th in the area of competition, with the participation of FEVOSA president and members of the Ministry of Sports and sponsoring companies such as Cerveceria Nacional with its products Presidente Light, Barceló, 911 and Pepsi, plus Cemento Cibao, National Lottery, NORCECA, Moltem, Chickens Cibao, Banreservas, the Dominican Volleyball Confederation, plus collaboration Eaters State Economic, and Baldom.
