The Marriott International hotel chain, which is the leading hospitality company in the world has announced that it is planning to partner with the Ocean Club Group in a $350 million project here on the north coast. This partnership will add three new luxury resorts to the Puerto Plata area. The Three hotels will include a Ritz Carlton, W, and a Luxury Collection Resort. The creation of the three new resorts is expected to provide around 2,000 jobs in the area.
