Whether you’re looking for a spot to refuel after a morning in the waves or a quiet spot to enjoy a quick bite, Cabarete has it all. With all of our properties throughout Cabarete within walking distance of at least one of these hot spots, you can be enjoying delicious food in no time. Here is our mini guide to breakfast in Cabarete:

Claro Cafe

Starting at the far end of town nestled away behind the road is Claro Cafe. Surrounded by greenery, this little spot offers a delicious range of wraps, burgers, salads with vegan and vegetarian options too! They also offer a tasty fresh range of smoothies and juices.

*We recommend the honey bacon veggie wrap.

  • Hours: Tuesday – Sunday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

Fresh Fresh Cafe

In the centre of town is Fresh Fresh Cafe, and although it looks like just any other storefront, once inside, you will discover their peaceful little nook away from the hustle and bustle of the street. Despite only being small, they have a big reputation throughout the town for their deliciously healthy smoothies, bowls and wraps. They have a vast range of food suited for vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free and everything in between.

*You must try the banana buzz smoothie. Tell them we sent you 😉

Friend’s Cafe

Whether you’re grabbing a quick pastry and coffee or stopping in for an omelette or crepes, Friends is quick, affordable and offers a nice variety of breakfasts. They also have a small library in the corner so you can enjoy a quick morning read!

*Their chocolate croissants are delicious and only 55 pesos.

Dick Bakery

Dicks Bakery is a popular spot in the centre of town for a quick breakfast at a great price. A favorite among surfers for their juices and filling global breakfast options, it’s also a great place to get freshly made pastries and breads! Double whammy!

*Be sure to try one of their chocolate chip cupcakes, too.

Serenade Restaurant at Villa Taina Hotel

If you’re looking for a breakfast to satisfy a large appetite, the breakfast buffet at Villa Taina Hotel is for you. With an all you can eat buffet offering a mix of continental goodies, juices and coffee, you’ll be ready and fueled for anything! They also offer a delicious lunch and dinner menu which follows breakfast and stays open until 10:00 pm.

Belgium Bakery

For those on a strict diet, the Belgium Bakery could be slightly testing. With an array of cakes, chocolates, pastries and all other goodness displayed at the door, it’s hard not to get distracted! Their menu offers a scrumptious mix of continental breakfasts with even a kids menu!

*The chocolate mousse is a must try whatever time of the day. We won’t tell!

Vagamundo Coffee & Waffles

With a light, airy and relaxing atmosphere, Vagamundo is a popular meetup/hang out spot! Combined with their flavorful menu of waffles, bowls, coffee and juices, live music on Sundays and friendly staff, this is a must try! Whilst you’re sipping away at your coffee, you can also rest easy knowing you’re supporting a non-profit organization that helps to house street children. Kite Club Cafe

When you think of Kite Beach, lots of kites, wind and people come to mind. However before the wind fills in, Kite Beach is incredibly peaceful and quiet. Kite Club Cafe is tucked amongst the palms close to the point. They offer a tasty breakfast menu to fuel up kitesurfers for the day with a mix of fruit, eggs, pancakes, omelettes and even a full English breakfast.

*We highly recommend the breakfast burrito with hash browns.

Vitamin D Cafe at Hotel Agualina

Halfway along Kite Beach overlooking the turquoise ocean is Vitamin D Cafe. A hotspot for digital nomads, this tranquil spot offers mainly vegan and vegetarian dishes but don’t stress, bacon is still on the menu. The location cannot be beaten, the food is delicious and the internet is fast! Digital Nomads Unite!
